ABOUT
MHYD is an engineering company founded in 2016 in Switzerland. Comprising a dynamic and multidisciplinary team, MHYD provides sustainable solutions in the fields of water and energy infrastructure, in view of their socio-economical viability and ecologic compliance. We employ our competences and experience to the benefit of our partners for a long-term horizon of durability, synergy and efficiency.
Water infrastructures are the backbone of human societies, providing protection against water-related hazards, as well as water resources for anthropic uses and for energy production in inland waters, coastal waters and urban networks. Their conception, planning, construction, maintenance and rehabilitation are at the heart of MHYD activities, including training and customized solutions for life cycle management.
Anchored on the proximity to industrial and research centres of excellence in Western Europe, MHYD develops innovative solutions for each project context, focusing on sustainable hydropower development, river restoration, coupling of solar/wind & hydropower, management of ageing water infrastructures and coping with climate change.
